Washington warns Palestinians against opposing the "deal of the century"

The US ambassador to the United Nations, Kelly Kraft, warned the Palestinians that expressing their dissatisfaction with the American peace plan, "the deal of the century" in the international organization would only "repeat the same failed approach for the past seven decades."

If the initial response of the Palestinians to the plan is expected, Kraft said, "Why don't they take this dissatisfaction and use it instead in negotiations?"

"Conveying this discontent to the United Nations only repeats the same failed approach for the past seven decades. Let's avoid those traps and instead give peace a chance."
