Erdogan condemns the "betrayal" of some Arab countries because of the "deal of the century"

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday accused some Arab countries of "treachery" by staying "silent" about US President Donald Trump's peace plan in the Middle East.

Erdogan said in a speech to his party officials, the "Justice and Development Party" in Ankara, "The Arab countries that support such a plan are committing treason against Jerusalem, as well as towards its people and most importantly towards all humanity."

"Saudi Arabia in particular is silent. When will you vote? The Sultanate of Oman and Bahrain are the same. The Abu Dhabi government claps. Shame on you! Shame on you!" Erdogan added.
