Death toll from corona virus in China rises to 780

Chinese authorities announced that the death toll from the Corona virus in Hubei province has risen to 780, after Hubei province recorded 81 new deaths.

On the other hand, the Director of the World Health Organization announced that the organization had received a response from China regarding the dispatch of an international mission led by the organization to the country where the emerging coronavirus is spreading.

Tedros Adhanum Gebresos said the head of the mission would leave Monday or Tuesday, with the rest of the experts following him.

Asked if experts from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention would participate in the team, he said, "We hope so."

Tedros did not reveal the name of the team leader and the rest of the members, nor did he provide further details, saying only that the organization "will announce everything as soon as we are ready."
